I curled mine last yr , and it was straight by the time homecoming started . it all depends on the length of your hair , if its thick/thin , and how well your hair holds curl .

well my hairs in the middle of being thick thin.
But what I'm worried about is if I straighten it if it gets to hot at the dance its just gonna frizz up look a mess.

well my suggestion is that you straighten your hair and do a few curls medium sized or something and then well spray hairspray in you hair to keep it in place
