I have snakebites, and depending on your pain tolerence it can vary.
But overall, snakebites are definently capable of handling.
I had my tounge last year and damn it really hurts, if it gets infected it can get really bad. I advise you from getting your tounge pierced. Just trying to help[:
I would go with the snakebites.
Good Luck!

ummm I have my tongue pierced and I have a really low tolerance for pain but it didnt hurt to bad... I mean three days your tongue will be swollen but then you dont even feel it after that. like the other person said it depends on you pain tolerance level...
snake bites im getting them in a couple of weeks so maybe I can let you know then.
I don't have snakebites but I do have several other piercings. My tongue was the least painful of all of them. Yes, you will have swelling and some pain for a few days. But if you take Midol and rinse with Listerine like you are supposed to, it will be minimal.
the tongue is like the least painful piercing.
I have it done it hurt a tad bit but only when he was screwing the balls on the ends.
other than that your fine.
but yeah the swelling does hurt for a few days but once it goes down its fine.
I Had Snakebites Like Four Days Ago...
It Doesnt Hurt At The Time...
Well Not Much... Same As Getting Your Ears Or Nose Pierced.
But Afterwards It Does Start To Throb.
&& Cleaning It Is Quite Painfull
