metric system? I the metric system everything is based on powers of 10. In the American measures nothing is.
There are 3 teaspoons to a tablespoon There are 2 tablespoons to an ounce There are 8 oz in a cup There are 2 cups in a pint There are 2 pints in a quart There are 4 quarts in a gallon There are 2 gallons to a peck There are 4 pecks to a bushel
Therefore there are 8 cups in a half gallon.
