So your basic calorie needs are 1232
Now multiply that number by 1.6 to get your calorie needs when factoring daily activity. That is your resting metabolic rate
= 1971.20
1971.20 is your daily calorie needs at your current weight (this is not factoring in any exercise)
If you want to lose 1 lb a week then subtract 500 from your final figure. Thats how many calories you want to consume daily.

How many calories should i be eating per day?
I'm not trying to get thinner, but I've been eating a lot, so I want to know how many calories I need to eat in a day.
I'm 51.5, and I weigh 112LBs.
