How long will it take my hair to grow?

If I was to shave my head, how long will it take for it to grow to my shoulders?

From what I've read, hair grows an average of 2 1/2 inches per month.

I thought it was just half an inch?

Theres probley a variation - I don't think everyones hair grows at the same rate.

I'd say (guesstimating =D) one... maybe two years, when I cut my hair to my ears it took that long I can't imagine how long it'd take if you were to SHAVE your head... (but it does look bad so please, don't do it.)

uh if your screenname includes the term princess, im assuming that you are a girl. shaving your head would be very weird in that case.
