How long does vicodin stay in your system? I weigh 102 lbs, I have a fast metabolism and I do have a prescription for it of course. The last time I took amy was today Saturday the 21st and I may have to see my PO on Tuesday or Wednesday. If I don't take...

Depends on how many you took. Its half life is about 3 to 4 hours (half life is how long it takes the body to metabolize HALF of thr dose you took)
Say they they are 5/325 mg and you took 2, so that's a total of 10 mg---so in 4 hrs 1/2 of 10 mg has been metabolized by the body leaving 5mg in your system. Then every 4 hrs you go down by 1/2---2.5, 1.25, and so on until your system is clean.
So if that's all you took you should be fine. Though if you have a prescription,unless you are taking larger than direct amts, aren't you allowed to have it? you just show your PO the bottle with your name on it.

Basically all pills, with the exception of opiates, only stay in your system a matter of hours. Percocets, for example, only stay in your system for 24 hours. So I'm pretty sure that it should take less them 48 hours for them to get out of your system, depending on how many milligrams your took. If you took a lot, then it would be a little bit longer.

Most all medications have a half life and are all calculated as I mentioned above. The lower the half life the faster the body metabolizes the medication. The higher the half life then of course the longer metabolization.
Were they extra strength? And how much did you take. As we both said the smaller amt you took the better chance of being clean by Tues or Wed.
