How far does "girl code" go?

I really like this guy. But my friend is pretty into him, knew him first and well is all around good friends with him. Heres the catch... she got married a year ago. She isn't sure where her marriage is going but I feel like this voids the girl code...

and I should be able to pursue something there. But she is a good friend would pursuing things ruin that?

if shes married it shouldnt matter. she made a commitment to someone else and if she cant deal she will eventually. if you like the guy go for it. its better to regret the things you HAVE done than the things you havent.

well talk to your friend first... normally the girl code (yes I am male but I know about the code...) is VOID in this situation though your friend might get jelous and all...so better talk it out first
