I suspect the adverts that sometimes appear on the question page (between the QA's) that are often targeted to the question works in a similar way.
Just my theory.
PS I'm surprised that one of the site advisors have not replied to this one.

I noted, that when I type in a title and a question, Category changed and Related Questions magically appeared. How does it work? :P
