How do you quit drinking? I started, like, 2 months ago, and im so scared of getting caught! So, I just want to quit, but I keep getting temped to do it again, and I also feel like I need to.. I dont know. Help?
next time you 'succumb' write down how you felt in the morning, you know, the kidneys aching...head hurting..awful dehydration...the pooey taste in your mouth..
but more importantly, write down how bad you feel about doing it the night before, how you are disapointed that you gave in and had some alcohol..
the evenings, when you probably drink, are hardest...you should find something to do in the evenings, go out for a drive instead or go to AA if you're really struggling..it's always good to mix with people who don't drink, and AA has lts of people who don't! more than that they can support you through this little blip you're going through.
giving up alcohol is a great decision...and one that will not just benefit your health, but your life too... it doesn't matter how long ago or how recently someone started drinking, if their desire to drink overshadows their ability not to, they have a problem...millions of people every day suffer with alcohol problems...be one of the ones that go 'no thanks' it's a much better feeling the next day than a hangover
good luck :)
okk well I think you just to go cold turkey just STOPP I don't like it when I hear people who I really care about that they have been drinking I don't know you but I am concerned b.c it's deff. not good for you shouldn't just stop b.c your afraid of getting caught you should stop for your health drinking doesn't help you it kills you I know for a fact b.c of family members that have problems with it!!!
