How do you motivate yourself?

I procastinate (sp?) a lot, you know putting things off till the last minute (I.e School Projects), or doing other things so I don't have 'time' to do it. I lack motivaton, my mum is always encouraging me and by brothers and thats cool but I still don't do it! So I was just wanting to know what you do that motivates you to suceed and want to do well and actually do things.

So how do you motivate yourself?

Yes, I agree with both of the two answers up there. Breaking things down into smaller pieces, and thinking about what not doing it is going to do for your future. It sucks, but thats the only way. I still have a bit of trouble with my schoolwork, but I can mange it a lot better than at the beginning of the year. I was stuck then.

The future is my motivation...
Always been thinking about it, so this gives me really good oportunity to motivate myself 'do this for your better future...or if you do this you will have a better future...

try breaking down your big project into smaller ones. this way youre not overwhelmed with how much work you have.
do one of those smaller projects, then reward yourself by taking a break and playing video games...but not for too long.

For me,I'll tell myself that this is my future.I cant fail,I must get good result so that I can have a bright future.Always remind yourself this.Concentrate in school.Play when you are outside.Must know when is the right time to play and study.Good luck! ^^
