How do you make a good resume

I need advice on making a good resume. What should I include in it all? I don`t know what I should say and this will be my first job if I can even get one. Please help me!

your resume should be a maximum of no more then 3 pages..since its your first job im guessing you havent had much actual work experience.

1) put your personal details: name, address and DOB (only do that if your age will not work against you, you dont want recruitment officers, passing you over ).
2) your education detail, what level your at and finished.
3) your skills and attributes eg: 1 of your skill could be - your proficiency with computer programs eg: microsoft excel, words etc...attributes -- punctual, take instructions readily etc.
4) any previous work or work experience you have done, list the company name, the position, the firm address
5) find at least 4 work related references..if not possible, find people who can be your character referees.

if the above is unclear, im sure you can find more hints and tips on any search engines on the net

dude just google up some resumes online they will give you good examples to follow
