Weight loss that quick is neither practical nor healthy. You'd simply gain it back.

If you're overweight, consult your doctor. Drink a lot of water, and concentrate on getting a variety of foods - textures, colors, and food groups - and at least 30 minutes of light to moderate exercise a day (a walk with the dog is fine.. don't think you have to workout like a maniac). When you're treating it well, your body will naturally go to a healthy weight, based on your body type and genetics.

I agree with maddie.

To reiterate what maddie said, If you try to lose too much weight too quickly, it is unhealthy. Also, the weight loss is usually only temporary.

Drink a lot of water. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Eat smaller meals often to keep your metabolism going throughout the day. If you eat infrequently, your metabolism slows down because your body is not sure when it is going to get food again.

Walk often.

If you are healthy, your body will find the weight that is best for it on its own. If you maintain that healthy lifestyle, you will find it easier to maintain that healthy weight as well.
