How do you know when your giving too much?

Ok I'm the generous type and my mabey to be sister in law takes advantage of it.She and her boyfreind/my brother in law are 20 and 23 and neither work and so I feel bad for her b/c she dosen't really have anything and I have a lot.Well when I order my...

bare minerals make up she asked if she could try it too.So I said ok,well after she tried it she wouldn't stop telling me how much she liked it so I got her some to be nice.Then she whined about how she didn't have any of the make up brushes and so I got her a few.She always whines for things from m and when I ask her a question she always blows me off.I feel good doing nice things for other people but I will NOT give her anything any more she's a user!!! My question is when do you know when to stop giving?

When the other person stops appreciating what you give, starts taking it for granted, and does not attempt to reciprocate in other ways...

it always is... when people want something they're always nice in the beginning (makes it harder to say no later on), but once they start to take stuff for granted, you just say no...

 
You are doing them a disservice when you continue to provide other than the real necessities of life. If they want more than the basic necessities it is time for them to learn to work for them.
