How can you tell if you're really in love?

how can you tell if your really inlove with someone??? is it something you say , is it something you do, what? how can you tell??

It's a deep feeling in your heart. But also it's undescribable. But you'll know you're in love when it comes.

you will know your in love when you are in love...its kinda the feeling that you cant not only eat sleep or live without that person...but the feeling that you cant even breathe without them. the feeling that you truely want them by your side for the rest of eternity.

This is how you can tell:
1. your constantly thinking about this person
2. your sacrificing your time and your making an effort to keep them happy
3. you stare into their eyes and get this warm, passionate feeling, kinda, like you have butterflies.
4. you find urself almost accidently saying the L word

no matter how bad he hurts you, you still want to be wit him...you dont care who you have to lose as long as you get to be with him...everytime you hear a song or read a peom he is the first person you think of...when youhear the word love he is person you think of...you think about him 24/7/365...no matter what you do you always think of him...you try for the longest time to get back together with them...if youg uys are broke up you will call them and say sorry I had the wrong number just to hear there voice

There are so many ways to tell if you are in love. First you will sacrafice everything you had if that person would ask. You are really constantly thinking about them, no matter if you fight you lower yourself and say your wrong even if you aren't. You try everything in the world to see them, fight to not call them too often. You dream, sleep, breath, think, and talk about them constantly. Once you love, there's no going back. Because you will do anything till you break.

the above answers sound like they came from a bunch of silly ninth-graders. except maybe for dimpalz. love is passionate but doesn't force you to lose yourself in it. you think about the person a lot, true, but not obsessively. you try sincerely to make that person happy, but you are NOT forced to forget your own happiness. love is TRUST. you trust the person to be kind with your heart, to come back to you when they are away, to put as much energy into the relationship as you do. you trust the person to be the best one out their for you. anything else is lust, or a really bad crush. If you are one of those people who places the IDEAL of love at the VERY top of their priorities, than you are more likely to mistake lust or longing for true love. WRONG!!!
