Live traps tend to work best as long as they are safe ones that they can't possibly get hurt on. The ones Tractor supply sells are the best. Just get a fairly small one and put a plate of canned cat food in the back of it & hide in in a bush or something, or anywhere that you've seen the cat or cat prints before. Works every time =]
