my ipod cromatic has froozen on the 'connected' screen how do I un-freeze it?

How down the middle button and the pause button at the same time. My ipod does this all the time and it's so annoying.

hold down the play button and the center button at the same time. It happens to mine all the time.

I'm not computer techno but the same thing happened to me my co-worker came over just held down the middle round button on the nano for like 5 seconds it powered off. Then you just start up as normal. Hope it works for you. happy

Slide Hold switch to HOLD and back. Press both Menu and Center button for 6 seconds until apple appers.
