How do i tell someone i like them?

how do I tell this boy I like him without makeing a fool of myself and loseing him as a great friend?

because I really like this boy but I dont know how to tell him I like him!

Ok well first you have to think. Is telling him you like him going to ruinj your friendship? Which would be best...going out for a few months then breaking up and not really talking much after that or just staying really good friends?
if you are intent on telling him then you could just be like So who do you like at the moment then? and hopefully he will ask you and then you can either tell him straight or make him guess.
Or you could just be like Hey can I talk to you for a second? and then tell him like that.
There are loads of ways you just need to find the right one to suit your relationship.
