well this is a tough one! I wud first suggest he idea and why you feel like you shud be able to have a boyfriend! dont use the excuse because my friends get to have them tried that, doesnt turn out to well! lol but I wud also tell her that you have found a great guy that you really like, and she shud respect that! I no strict parents will be hard to break but it will be done if you believe! so just be complelty honest with her!!!
bring him up in a conversation but mention him only as a friend then wait for a couple days and tell your mom that you have a crush on him and ask her what she thinks about the situation and depending on what she says throw in the idea of having a boyfriend
Be gentle with your mom but seriously screw her, you got what you want. OR You could just keep it a secret.
tEll HER tHERESz NO AGE iN lOVE __*
ya dont her shes dominican! she don play that. everyone is intimidated by her ((even me summtimes)). shes the hardest women to talk to. if I try to start a serious conversation it turns into an argument even if I approach her almly without ane attitude. I asked her why she doesnt allow him in ma house and e more and she sed 'because he's grown and I dont want him to try and e thing with ma lil girl'...=[ not cool.
My mother was the EXACT SAME WAY!! Strickt puerto rican mother that scared everyone I couldn't have bfriend till I was 18 too. I honestly didn't have my first real boyfriend till my senior year of high school. Yeah I tried the whole sneaking around, but she always found out and they all ended disasterously. most guys dont want to deal with it either. They'd rather be with a girl who could have a guy out in the open. But honestly, It pissed me off at the time, but now that I'm older, I appreciate it. When your older and the relationships get more seriouse to where theres a possibility of marriage in the near future, the guys will appreciate the idea of you waiting.
I know it sounds tough, but you gotta understand that she loves you and that she doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. Yea, this guy may be nice, and tell you all the things that you like to hear, but think about it. No matter what happens in your life, your family will always be there for you. Mess one thing up with this boy and he's out the door. Trust me, I've seen it happen. I don't want to say that you are too young to understand any of this now, but let me just tell you that once you get older you will see what your mom was talking about. Our parents may seem annoying at times, especially when they won't let us do something but it really IS for our own good. They are the people who love us unconditionally, at all times! Remember that.

How to tell my strict mother that I have a boyfriend?
Send me Fun Mail
well, im 13 years old. I have a boyfriend that I've been going out with since september 2007. before that we had an on and off relationship for about 3 years. he was one of ma close friends since I was 10 years old. now that he's about to turn 15 ma mom doesnt like him and doesnt allow him at ma house anymore. sometimes I feel bad because im not suppose to have a boyfriend until im 18 years old. RIDDICULOUS!!! she doesnt know that I have a boyfriend or any idea to what I be doing. we really love each other (even if people say that we are too young). how do I let my mom allow me have a boyfriend at least until I turn 15 or 16.
