How do I tell my mentor that I was raped?

Okey. My mom knows and shes trying to make me get a pelvic exam. I dont know what that is. So I went back to school and tried to talk to my mentor and she wont talk to me. My mom told my mentor what I told my mentor and now she wont talk to me. Every time I try to talk to her she says if its something not cool shes going to tell my mom.how do I get her to talk to me because theirs a lot more that I want to tell her but she just cuts me off. Every time I write her a note she will rip it up and not even read it. Every time I text her she wont respond, shell go and tell my mom. What should I do?

well for one a pelvic exam it when you go to the doc and they put this thing inside your private part called a speculum to some women it dont hurt but it is a discomfort. but I think you shud go to your mentor and just talk weather she likes what shes hearing or not and just tell her how your feelin...imm sooorryyy your going thru this hard time I hope things gets better...

You need to have a discussion with your mom and/or mentor about seeking legal help.

I'm assuming the rape happened when you were still a minor - in that case, your mom and your mentor can get in a lot of trouble for knowing this happened to you and not doing anything about it. (especially the mentor, teachers and facilitators are required to report sexual violence of minors.)

She may be just scared and awkward with the whole situation.

like sika said, they are mandatory reporters... they have to inform the police if they suspect or know of any sort of abuse...

why not just talk to your mum instead?

ok girl if your mentor dont want to listen then you need to not have them as a mentor...that is very unperfessional and rude of her!!! I believe you should get checked so that you are ok..I hope you feel better in time..if you need help I am here..I love helping thats what I was put here 2 do and I want to be a nurse but..
