How do I tell him I want to have sex?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year, and the most we have ever done is finger. He told me he wants to wait until I’m ready, before we have sex, but I don’t know how to tell him I’m ready. I feel like if I straight up tell him I want to have sex with him, then I’m going to sound horny or something. So how would I tell him?

You should probably go down on each other first. It's really intimate, will take care of your horniness and will lead to sex in the future. By having oral sex, you'll learn a lot about how to please each other. When you do have sex, I think you should let it happen naturally (and use protection)!

well, that's not a bad thing if you tell him straight up. Like, it's okay to be horny and have sex with your boyfriend. He would probably think it was hot, you being all confident and stuff, too.
But personally, with my boyfriend, I'm experiencing everything short of actual sex first. Try going down on each other, it's really not gross. Well, just make sure both of you are clean down there, maybe you could take a shower together first or something.
