How do i stop being friends with someone who is manipulative?

How can I do this without confrontation? I have been friends with this person for a long time and since then she been manipulative. Me and my friends have confronted her about her behavior but she hasn't change. She rarely calls or talk to us on IM. She...

only calls when we she wants to hang out. I am really sick of it and I want to end our friendship without confrontation I think it might work because like I said she doesn't call to talk.

the best way is to just ignore her.
when she says hi to you walking by just say it back and keep going, its not that hard. And it wont be long before she gets the point :D

Just tell her flat out you don't like her addittude and maybe she will change it. She may not realize what she is doing. Talk to her first and if she continues acting that way then ignore her. Sometimes people are going through tough stuff that they don't wish to share and It changes their addittude twards others bc they have a lot on their plate. Do the mature thing and talk to her.
