How do i make my own chat site?

I want to know how to make my own chat site . but I dunno how. I dont want it to be like the little text bubbles I want it to be like zwinky or imvu. So it wud be kool if someone cud tell me what I needed itd be awsome!! Lemme no if you no how plzz
