How do i make him like me?

There is this guy at school and I really like him. There was this party and we were together and I think something happened but I don't know. Ever since then, I have a major crush on him,, and he seemed to flirt back so I thought things were going well....

The downer on this is, that he is quite popular but apparently some guys find me annoying and he doesn't want to go out with me because of it - which really hurt as I genuinely thought he liked me. He said that he really likes me but just not in that way, and he still wants to be good friends,, which we are at the moment. I can't get over him. I don't know why because he ain't the fittest lad at school, its just I like him.

What can I do to make him change his mind?

well you could try to et his attention but that sumtimes dont work
