How do I make a link?

I know this is 101 but here goes. How do I make a link? I know how to do it from my mail but not through here. I'm always giving people the names of good sites to go to but, because I don't know how to link, they have to copy and paste it. Is it just html?

You have to be an Advisor to make your links turn clickable in your advice, otherwise they just turn out as normal text, unless they are to another page on FunAdvice.
