Okay, for the past two weeks I have been hitting the gym 4 times a week...I do 45 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes of weightlifting/strength training. I have completely eliminated my beloved Cherry Coke, candy, and even the occasional donut. (Which I miss desperately!!)
I have been eating lots of fruits, vegetables, low fat cottage cheese, brown rice, lean protein, wheat bread, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk...but I HAVE treated myself to an Arby's roast beef sandwich. I've been drinking water, sometimes with a spritz of fresh lemon juice in it. I am eating healthy and between that and working out, I have lost 7 pounds so far.
(And now that I've mentioned a donut, I want one! Grrr! Instead I'll snack on an apple, although I think I just might treat myself to a donut this weekend anyway.)
Anyway, cut the sugar, cut the fat, step up your activity and you'll get there. Good luck and Happy Cheerleading!
I think I'll try that. I've been overeating. I always though that there was kind of a trick for some people, but there definitely isn't one for me! I guess I'll just have to try keeping self control, and treat myself to the occasional treat.
I should also do some cardio work. I'm on a soccer team, but the season is almost over, so that's why I was coming here for help.
The thing to remember, really, is moderation. You CAN treat yourself on occasion to that small piece of candy, you CAN go out to eat, but choose something healthy. Now, for me, I love fruits and veggies and I really do love brown rice...with a tiny bit of butter, salt, and pepper on it, it's really good. I do make sure I eat, at the least, 1200 calories per day...starving yourself is NOT the way to go - just eat sensibly for optimum results and optimum health.
Back in the day, I too was a cheerleader, (and to be honest, I hated it...LOL! After one year on the squad, I said to heck with it and quit. I had more fun being with my friends on the yearbook staff, on the school newspaper, and in the band. Cheerleading was not for me.)
weilkopolski15 is right too...being a base is VERY important - I like her attitude!

How do i lose weight?

How do i lose weight?
I want to join a cheer leading squad with my friend. But you have to be about 110 lbs or less so you're not too heavy for when you're doing certain things. I'm close to that. I'm 112 lbs, but I want to lose weight so I can join it. I want to be about...
105, so I won't have to worry about getting over the weight limit.
I would like to reach my goal by November 25
PLEASE HELP!!!
And could you also say how I can control my eating habits? Thanks!!
