How do i know if this guy is really into me

I am talking to this guy for a while now and I really like him. see we go out on dates and sometimes he stays over at my house. one time I asked him how do you feel about me and he told me that right now I dont know.
then the other day he told me that...

he has a wall up and that he wants to see if he can trust agean and then he well let his wall down.
I geuss he has been hurt in his past.
I have asked him if he liks me and he told me that he dose. so what is the problem. please help me cause I really like him.

he def in to u but i dunno if he really likes u cuz c guys sometimes they just need a freeind it doesnt mean they like u like that maybe the wall thing is just an excuse to not be with u on that leavel ,dont say anything more about relationships or liking each other, just c how he reacts with u just being his freind and if he realy do like u then later on he will try to be with u and if he dont he will be content being ur freind.

Sounds very obvious to me that he has been hurt in the past and doesnt trust that easy. Fair enough. Becos if he rushes things and doesnt get to know the person first his wall will be even more difficult to come down. You need to be patient with him, atleast you know he likes you, he just doesnt want to rush things. The worst thing you could do right now is pressure him into a relationship when he isnt ready, it will ruin things. Be patient, tell him you understand and will wait until he is ready to let go of the pain of his past. Reassure him that you are not going to hurt him and in time, if he gives you a chance you will prove it to him.
