How do you insert a tampon?

I cant put a tampon in and I dont know what to do. its soi rritating. it just wont work!

Relax, don't get tense, use slenders for starters. Did you read the directions. Although it seems tough and difficult at first once you get the hang of it, only a few seconds. Don't get discouraged, but do relax.

um hmm.. ok when you try to put it in open up your legs a littlewide so you create more room for it to go in...
I never really had that problem...
oh yeah and like the other person said be relaxed because if your tense it will tighten up and wont slide in

if it starts to hurt, you are doing it wrong

Hey, no need for name-calling. Immature.

First of all, relaaax. I'm not sure what part you're having trouble with, but here goes..

There are two pieces to it, right? Put it in, and make sure the first part is all the way in. THEN, while still holding onto the end of the first bit with your fingertips, push the second part in as far as you possibly can. Obviously you only want the cotton to go in there, none of the plastic or cardboard stuff. Make sure you don't leave it in for too long.. few hours at most.. leaving it in too long is a recipe for TSS (toxic shock syndrome) which can be deadly.
