How do i insert a tampon

Hi I've got my period and im sick of using pads. I've tried using a tampon but it hurts a bit. And also if im riding my bike should I wear a pad or tampon

I understand that it hurts.. you need to get a tampon for the size of your period... if its light get light if its medium get regular and if its a heavy period get super... and you have to stand and then put one leg on the toilet and then insert it... u'll be ok... and leave it in there for no more then 4 to 5 hours.. and for when riding your bike you can wear either its up to u.. maybe a pad is best

I have found that the best way to insert a tampon, is to lay down and slide it right in place. Well girl you should wear something, unless you want the blood running down your leg.
