I don't know what you are doing now so this is only general advice.
Lift heavy. For strength training it is generally better to do fewer reps at heavier weight than more reps at lower.
Lift to failure. Keep going until you can not complete your rep. If you have a spotter you might try forced reps. When you are on the rep where you can not finish your spotter can give you just enough help so you can complete the rep. Don't just drop your weights after each contraction, fight the weight all the way down.
Get good rest between workouts. You don't build muscle while you work out (you actually tear it down), you build muscle when you recover. Do not lift so often that you aren't fully recovered by the next session. Generally skip a day between working out the same muscle group.
Change your routine periodically. Even if you do everything right you will hit plateaus. To avoid this change your routine and exercises.. Some lifters change their routine ever 6 weeks while others every 3 months. Changing your routine will hit your muscles a little differently and build up different aspects of your strength.
Absolutely excellent advice from all above, especially fillet. The key is to keep it going and not give up. Once you see results, you'll be inspired to keep going. Try and maintain some discipline... a 30 minute workout, 5 times a week, rotate body parts and match a push with a pull type... eg. shoulders ( pull) and military presses (push).
PS... Sens or Pens for cup? what do you think?
if you could do martial arts then you should go out and buy arm weights and leg weights put the weights on your arm and legs and start doing martial arts scientifically proven it will help you get stronger 20x then just lifting weight
