how do I get my puppy to stop whining??

I had the same problem with my puppy. she is 7 months now and thankfully has stoped! the the worst thing you can do it keep going to your puppy when she cries.. it will learn that if she cries and barks you will come! you do not want this as they may not grow out of it. your pup needs to know that its ok to b on its own! I put my pup in a quiet room in a crate at night with a blanket to cover it as an extra bit of comphat for her. lots of toys and a puppy bone to keep her occupied! try putting a hot water bottle in her bed (covered so its not to hot) a ticking clock under its bed - represents mums heart beat. or put a radio on to a dtaion where there is more talking than music. this should calm it down! your just going to have to let the pup whin.. sorry I know its hard. I had about 3 weeks of it and I was sooo tiered!!! I cried some nights! but your pup will get the idea that when it cries you wont come! dont move the dog around, keep a routine! stick to it and she will stop. lots of tiring play before bed time and let it out to go the loo and you should be fine! try taking the water away at night so your pup wont go/need loo during the night..
