How can I get her to let me get a web cam?

I know how you feel. My girlfriend lives about an hour and half away from me. We only see eachother on weekends. My parents let me have a webcam so I could take pictures of myself. Of if I need to do some kind of a project. Most cameras you can plug into the computer and you can get webcam off of them. And either way you can go behind your moms back also.
