How do i get back her trust?

Hi, please bear with me while I explain my situation before asking the question, cheers.

subject of why we broke up. I made a stupid comment and felt guilty about it and told Kelsey, 2 weeks later she broke up with me.

A few months after this (the beginning of this year) I began talking to her again and still liked her. Now about a year after she broke up with me I've never regretted anything more, she's the most amazing person I've ever met; perfect in every way and I won't be happy until I get her back.

All year I have been working hard to show her how much I care about her. I talk to her all the time, I compliment her all the time, I buy her chocolates for no particular reason, I even made friends with her friends so everything seems perfect now.

I haven't asked her out yet because I don't know for sure that she likes me but from talking to her friends I do know that she is really scared of being hurt again because she thinks that Natasha still likes me. I have no feelings for her and never felt more strongly for anyone else but Kelsey. How do I convince Kelsey that I love her and could never hurt her again? Would apologizing make a difference?

Of course apologizing would make a difference!!! You need to sit Kelsey down and tell her right flat out that you want nothing to do with this Natasha chick.. That if Natasha fell off a bridge youd be there just to laugh kinda thing. You have to do anythnig and everything to TELL AND show her you mean it. You cant just buy her candy and expect her to forgive you. Ill bet all the guys in the world hope women will work that way one day but it wont. You have to make her understand and I say tell her. Write her a song showing how much you love her or a poem explaining it.. Something shell NEVER forget

Apologizing only has 2 affects. Make matters better or doesn't change anything. So there is no harm in it.

It seems you feel strongly about her, so tell her how important she is to you. Let her know you would sooner take a bullet (figuratively speaking) before you'd hurt her again.

If you know her, then make it personal. Talk to her, but make it where it hits her hard. To where she realizes how much she is cared for and loved by you.
