at 15 years old, you want to make sure you eat enough calories because your body is still growing. You want to eat between 1500 and 2000 calories every day. But it depends on where they come from. eating healthy foods will cause you to grow properly in the correct areas. You should get most of your food from fruits and vegetables with lots of fiber. only eat lean meats once a day or once every 2 days. Get most of your protein from beans and nuts. Try not to eat a lot of carbs. You don't have to have bread with every meal.
DONT EAT FAST FOODS!
DONT DRINK SODAS!
You should exercise for at least 30 minutes a day... in 10-15 minute incruments.
to get a flat tummy exercises you should focus on are ab strengthening exercises. Try yoga and pilates (if you have comcast on demand, there are yoga and pilates videos you can watch for free whenever you want).
Also, you will want to throw in some cardio exercise too... cardio will burn unwanted fat. so go jogging (or some other cardio exercise you enjoy... possibly swimming)
I suggested tae-Bo in another thread. I think that would help you here because it is a mix of strength training and cardio. just do the whole tape once a day 3 -4 times a week (or do 1/2 the tape every day)
you are young so it is important to try to make this a part of your life... don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifechoice. Once you stop thinking about the things you can't have, and start thinking of all the new things you will have to try, things get a lot easier.
