How can i dye brown to blonde?

My hair was a natural blonde. My friend told me if I dyed it brown and didnt like it I Would be able to dye it back blonde... I didnt like it and I tried dying it back and it didnt work at all.
what should I Do? I bought stuff from the store but do you...

think if I get it done from the salon it will work.

I highly suggest going to a salon. . . . you could damage your hair very easy so let a proffesional tackle this job.

you can get hair dye remover from any hair place(priceline is good)then your hair will go back to the org colour.then go then go to a salon to get it dyed

my advice is to use a artificial color remover. You can get it at wal-mart for under $8. This will pull all the dye out of your hair and lighten it so you can color it with one that matches your natural color. hence, when this new color starts to grow out, your roots will match the shade you choose closest to your natural color. Also, I would deep condition your hair when you have finished the process. When you have time to kill, wash your hair as usual but leave the conditioner in for fifteen to thirty minutes, this pulls the mosture back into your hair after the strain of processing. I dyed my light brown hair to black and this was the only way I got it back to my natural shade.

Im having exactly the same problem, Im a natural blonde and decided to dye to dark brown. Ive since got bored being dark and wanted to return to blonde, except no matter what i try Ive got stuck at a ginger colour! I tried using a colour remover which did remove the darker tone but it turned my hair to a red/ginger colour. Ive tried using the blonde dyes but nothing seems to get rid of the ginger, although it does seem to be getting gradually lighter, but now Ive got really blonde roots which fade into a light ginger. Its so frustrating because I dont have the cash to go to a salon to get it done. Hopefully, with patience itll eventually return to the natural colour, but itll probably have to be dyes god know how many times to get there.
