How do I get pictures on my computer for my profile?

Help!....everyone I am a total jackass when it comes to these pictures how in the world do I get pix on here!? I've tried scanning them and it just isn't working!....someone please tell me how to do this!!

After you have the image on your desktop, make sure it has a 'jpg, gif jpeg, or png' file extension - those are the only compatible ones.

And then when you go here to upload it:

Be sure to enter a short caption, else the photo won't stick. If it doesn't work, please follow up in this thread with the error message you got & we'll be happy to walk you through it.
