How do i cancel a friend request on a social site?

Ok so I accidently invited this girl on a social site but now I want to
Cancel the invitation so how do I do that???
I can't find a way

I don't trust the CIA (helped fund facebook...) or their Beacon ad project (it violated the existing privacy laws of a few US states)...or the fact you can't delete your own profile.

You can delete your account from any or all of the above, if you so chose...facebook doesn't give you that option.

I think that's a bit evil However, I'm biased...I do believe, though, that people should make an informed decision about products services they use, and most importantly, what those companies stand for.

(you can always remove them from your friend list on facebook later if they do accept...they do have that feature, at least).

There was once an option in facebook where you could cancel pending invites and I did that mysef but now its not there.

Its easy! Do what I do: Block that person by typing their name in the block box in privacy settings. Doing so cancels the friend request, and after a day or two you could unblock that person.

CHRISBR... is RIGHT! I blocked that person and went back within a few mins and remove the blocked. looked at the person profile and request was removed..

YES, IT'S POSSIBLE! you have to go to your privacy settings and block the user, then unblock them. The friend request will go away. Trust me...I just figured this out about 2 minutes ago.

YES, YOU CAN... don't listen to anyone else saying it's impossible.

- Click the Friends tab at the top of the home screen
- Find your non-friend in the list (in alphabetical order)
- Click the X at the right of their name
- Yer done! Request cancelled.

you go to your friends list. That person will be on there. go all the way to the left of the screen and press the x I had to do that myself!

Their is a why you can canceol your friend,if you don't know them,all you have too do is go too your friends profile and there you can see removed friend and clik on it and that can work,my friend.

Awesome! It totally worked I blocked someone and then unblocked and now I don't have to worry about it or get info from them.

Cancelling a friend request is easy, and this is how:-

If you send invitation through writing a message then you have to go back and block that person and then add that person. When it appears in your friend's list then through X button you can deleted the request.

My problem has a little twist to it: in Farmville, I have pending request, with no person attached(name, email address, no nothing I cannot delete. because it has no person to block. I need help because it only allows you to request a certain amount of people at at time.
