How do i become popular?

I'm a GEEK! I play bass clarinet and have straight A's. most kids in my school hate me and call me a goody little 2 shoes for it. just because I do my work when I'm supposed to and am actually interested in what were learning in school I'm not popular....

what do I do to keep straight A's and good behavoir and still be accepted?

nuthing you dont want to change sumthing about you to make people like you if you want to have true friends then be urself and god will come to u... you r who you r never let anyone change that...if you change who you are you will have fake friends

is being popular really that important to you? believe me. its NOT that great!! from someone that people always looked up too. I suffer from depression. I have been though sooo much in high school that it really has scared me.I use to go to school crying everyday RIGHT when I pulled up to the driveway of school I would start balling. once the popular thinks your not cool they will torment you!! and hurt your feelings that will lead you to start thinking really negative about yourself. I wish I was the good student that I was before people started liking me for being cool. if this helps any

you shouldn't care to be popualr. Why fake hwo you are to make friends? When you fake who you are to make friends, you end up gaining fake friends. Stick to the way you are and enjoy your nerdiness. Embrace it, because it'll make the quality of life so muchb better for you.

there is nothing wrong with playing the bass clarinet and getting good grades..in fact when you are older people will really be impressed with the fact that you can play an instrument and are smart. intelligence and talent will get you a lot further in life then popularity...even though at this juncture in life being popular seems like the best thing to be. Down the road...after you graduate...you'll probably look back to find out that 50 percent of the popular kids from school are no longer attractive, still live at home, and dropped out of college. Then they will want to switch places with you...
Stay who you are...believe me...it will benefit you in the long run..be nice to everyone you meet who deserves it, be friendly and outgoing and get involved in school...make lots of friends and be remembered for good things.

Unfortunetly, there is no magic formula for becoming popular, but as Jeniferjavier stated being popular has its drawbacks. Remember it is the quality of your friendships and not the quantity that matters!

Just be yourself, and you are sure to meet other students that enjoy learning, and strive to do well just like you.

Those students are are unkind to you because you want to do well and to make the most of the education that is being offered, could very well do poorly in their studies, and in the end suffer.

Education is so important, and you seem to really have it together. Don't let the ignorance of the immature students stand in your way of doing well! I for one find it very refreshing to hear of a student that really cares about how they do in school.

Who cares, I wish I would've gotten straight A's in middle school, instead of worrying about sports and what other people thought. Now I have no motivation for highschool because of it. Stay playing the Bass Clarinet, don't give that up. You'll probably learn to love it one day, if you don't already do. Keep your straight A's. It'll mean a lot more later on, even if you do want to be popular. Stick with the friends you have now. Most likely the people who are popular now in your school won't be popular later on in highschool. Stay who you are, there's nothing wrong with being a geek.

In a way, you already ARE popular. Think about it for a second. Those kids that call you those names already know who you are and what you are capable of. Don't let their stupid, childish remarks get to you. They are just jealous of you. You keep up with your work and don't bother spending your time on those losers!

I have the same problem. I'm a loser just because I'm shy and have real difficulty making friends.

Try getting B's aswell as A's.
Keep playing the instrument (I play piano and guitar)
Dont do your homework once a week (I dont do my math at all because I hate it)

Well the Shool I go to your Popular when you get good grades
Well Im Popular at my school (very) But I get good grades
I used to be in Band and the only reason Why I'm not is becasue I think the teacher is Physco
Be Urself dont try to Be popular its an actual Job

if you want 2 be popular, keep up your grades but don't let peps c them(they'll hate). when you take 2 other kids, keep your voc. simple(kids just get slower and slower). Also, come 2 school wearing something that shows peps your a relaxed, easy going student, and not geeky! the peps who you hang out wit are what other peps see( aka dont be friends wit other geeks). it takes time 2 become popular, don't force it.

If people ever harass you because you do your work just label them stupid of course. I'm pretty sure people would only pick on you because they are jealous. take a dig at their intelligence..I'm pretty sure once you make a statement ridiculing their unfortunate low IQ's..they will leave you alone.
As for you feeling 'geeky' maybe you should get a makeover. It will really make yourself feel better. New hairstyle and new clothes. Actually I'm just saying that because I love shopping.
