How come the titles of the questions are changed?

ok am I going crazy? everytime I go down the page to look at past questions some titles are changed. how come? like for instance someone put HELP and then when I went down and noiticed someone changed it to 'advice on bad behaved son'. that just sounds...

Yup, HELP is about the worst title in the world. Especially since it's an advice site, every question could be titled HELP and then no one would know what the question was about...

Also, the site search REALLY helps for these types of questions...

you're not crazy we change titles for two reasons, HELP doesnt really tell a person answering the question what it's about, so we change it so a person knows instantly what the question is about, and for the search engine to be able to find old questions.

Its edited so people get a more clear understanding of what the question is before clicking it.
