Why do people think I'm preppy?

I want to know why people think im preppy just because I like 2 go 2 the mall and dont dress like im sporty or goth (no affence) but I dont talk all cally girlish like the girl off of legaly blonde

Malls = Preps.
Wear nice, maybe not cheap clothes = Prep.
Like sports = Prep.
Slightly girly = prep.
Like everyone else = prep.
Rich Daddy = Prep.

people just like to put people in groups its not that big of a deal im classified as a lot of different things just accept it and move on it makes you who you are if you don't care what people think of you

After high school... none of that will matter so don't worry about it.
