How can i tell if a guy wants my attention?

How can I tell if a guy wants my attention?
So he does seem to go out of his way to talk to me and see me.
and he talks to his friends about me and things, but he also talks about other girls.
Not in the way that he might like them, but stilll...this...

is what confuses me...
any advice?

He may like you, as he's trying to impress you by talking about other girls like He's the man type of thing.

If he's going out of his way to talk to you and see you then he's doing a lot more than most guys can say for themselves. And just because he talks to other girls doesn't mean he's not interested in you. He's allowed to have female friends isn't he?

He talks ABOUT other females.
Not talks TO other females.
