It sounds like you have anxiety or panic attack disorder. There are some things you can do to help it. For one, look at everyone around you and see if they are also feeling so nervous...if they aren't, you know that the situation is safe.
You can calm yourself down by having a bath with some nice candles. Or there is even the possibility of seeing a therapist and possibly getting medication for panic attacks.
