really protected and have lots of rules. Now he has all the freedom he wants and takes advantage of it. He doesnt have much respect for anything anymore. Since he has told me he wants a break, I've been trying my hardest to give it to him, but he comes online and sends me messages. I tell him I thought he wanted space and he gets mad, he thinks I want him to leave me alone. so im not sure what to do?

hey. he prolly need attention and love. that's all. sumtimes when parents break up or whatever the kid(s) feels like its all their fault, and you might not know everything that happened, all you know is what you see and what he tells you about. but don't push him away, if you still love him, tell him! He just needs to know that he is needed!
