How can i let my parents realize that i'm grown up?

I'm 20 and my parents still treat me like a little kid how can I make them realize I am now a young woman and capable of making decisions on my own

If you live with them - move out
If you don't have a job - get one
If you're acting like good character or morals don't matter - change that
If you're into drugs - stop that
It's hard to answer because you didn't give their side...I wish you every success in the future !!

Start making those decisions! By being able to come to your parents with examples of adult, mature, educated decisions you have made you will be able to prove to them slowly the mature person you can be. Perhaps you did something in the past that compromised their trust for you and you are having to regain that trust. That takes time and is a slow process, but is worth it and do-able!! So start off small and work your way up, they will begin to respect you as a young woman.

Your parents usually just treat you like a baby because they miss those times you where. Try telling them that it bugs you, and they might stop. They'd understand.

dude, i wish i could help you. but i fear i'm in the same boat. they support me and pay ALOT for my school so I can't really say anything. but they wont even let me have a credit card.
