How can I keep my friend out of trouble when she won't know why?

Anyone remember the question about the cards? Well, I totally forgot about it for a while, but now, something terrible just happened. I couldn’t tell my dumb friend that the girl took our cards, and I didn’t- but that just led to the even’t I’m about to describe. My friend bothered the girl. if she bothered her, she’s gonna show my teacher the cards. The girl who sat across from the girl who took the cards said she put them back, but I’m not sure if I can trust her. I’m really anxious because of this. I know worse could happen, but my stomach is knotted up, I feel dizzy, and just plain TERRIFIED. I remember one person’s advice from the card question and handle this myself and just tell my teacher. But I need help. Right now. I’m desperate, anxious, and scared. PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION, I REALLY NEED HELP!
