How can i help?

Ok so one of my best mates has just broken up with his girlfriend a few hours ago.

He asked me to go for a motorcycle ride with him, so I did.
He then asked do you want to go ten-pin-bowling? Again, I said yes. He also asked a few other guys but they...

were already drinking so they had no way to get there. This was all to have a good time and not to focus on the breakup.

Anyway it was me, another guy (Aiden) and Nick (the guy were talking about) playing bowling.

Once we get back to his place Aiden has to leave so he does.Me and Nick alone in his garage (as not to wake his parents) and he seems sad but I know him well and he is really trying not to cry and distracting himself, and when he does think of his situation for more than a few secs, he breaks down and is on the VERY fine line of crying.

We then saw the time 1:15am and thought wow Dan better get home so I went home.

I have tried to comfort him and support him but as much as I hate seeing my friend cry, he just wont when he clearly should?

So I ask you, help me a help a friend?

I'm in the same thing... at least his girlfriend didn't go off and have sex and tehn tell him about it 2 days after the break up... I'm still trying to help my friend with that. Just be there for him. If he wants someone there be there if he doesn't then leave him alone.. it will be hard and stuff but, just show you care and he'll be okay. nothing much more than that you can do. If he needs to cry tell him too!!! Crying isn't unmanly and he'll better not bottling it up inside himself.

Yeah, he's bottling it up. Totally refusing to cry.

Not good I know.
