How can I get what I want for my birthday?

This year for my birthday I want it to be special. all I want is to go to a hotel for two nights. I want me and my friend to get our own room and my mom to get her own room. my mom doesnt want to go for two days cause she thinks she'll be bored all by her self. and shes hinting that she wants my to invite my cousin so that my aunt will come and she wont be alone.
Should I just let my cousin come so I can posibly get to go two days?
Or is there something I can do to convince her to let me go two days without inviting my cousin?

if she's set on the fact that she doesn't want to go because nobody will be there with her, then I say definitely invite your cousin, because it's better then having nothing. and..if you don't want your cousin there, you could maybe explain to your mother that you just want it to be you and your friend, and that your cousin could stay in their room, though that might be a little mean.

you seem extremely self centered. Im sorry but it's true. I know it's your Birthday but just because it is you can't completely disregard other peoples feelings. Your mom shouldn't have to stay in a room by herself for TWO days. people commit suicide after being isolated for less time than that. I don't know why you don't want your cousin there with you. Is it because he/she is extremely annoying? Have you gotten into fights with him before? By the way you are talking it seems that you would normally like doing stuff with your cousin but you just want to have your way now. Seriously the more the merrier. Invite your cousin and let your mom and her sister have some fun to. the party will be a lot better if everyone is having fun.

ok if you truely hate your cousin I would say no because then she might feel alone. But if you kind of like her take her with u. Just dont make her feel out of the loop
