How can i get static out of my hair?

Oh yeah, you know its a party when I'm there..... Asked by squiddles343 over 2 years ago, 5 answers.

I love my hair, but sometimes when I wake up it is frizzy and when I try to brush it, OMG IT GOES EVERYWHERE! I sleep on flannel sheets and just a regular cotton pillow case, but it is just recently that my hair has been going nuts. I am also on the swim...

team at my high school so I have to take a bath everyday. So my question is, are there any homemade remedies for static hair? If there aren't I will just go to Wal*Mart and buy some of the static-be-gone-stuff.

Take a fabric softener sheet and smooth it over your hair...gets rid of the static and makes it smell nice. :-)

What works for me is to use a good conditioner EVERY time I wash my hair. Try that and see if it works.

Fabric softener works great, also take a little bit of lotion rub it into your hands with a little extra left over, then rub that through your hair gently, it works!!!
