Well if you mean a Fun Advice advisor then you need to be good at giving advice. You also need to be understanding as well as having good spelling, punctuation and grammar. You need to have been a member for about a month but sometimes this varies. If you think you have what it takes then funmail thedude and he will let you know if you should be promoted.
Good luck
stella beat me to the punch :P
But here's what the site says...
How do I become an advisor?
You can become an advisor by first providing highly rated and clear answers. Contact us with a few of the answers you've provided and we'll consider upgrading your account to advisor status.
Contact either thedude or editor
You especially need to take care of the way you write.
Also, to be taken seriously as an Advisor, you may also like to consider ammending your user name as some members may find it offensive.
If you e mail thedude with an alternative name, he can change it for you and I believe you will retain your existing homepage.

It may also help if you revised your profile to make it look a bit more respectable.

I've done all yous asked so do I just answer questions and wait till thedude makes me an advisor?
Nope, we turn down some people.
I ask the team to review the profile, question history, grammar, spelling, punctuation, past answers, level of maturity (some people are immature at any age, even 30 like me), etc. Then if you pass the review, we invite you to the group.
And then, if you do something wrong, we remove you, no hard feelings
Last, you never replied to my last fun mail. If you have a conversation going in fun mail with somebody, don't expect them to pick it up via an answer on some question...you need to reply to the fun mail.
Just give lots and lots of good answers
