How can I get over a guy?

I have liked this guy for 8 months. I havent stopped. I reallly want to get over him but its like impossible for me. He doesnt like me like that at all and like he doesnt even want to be my friend like seriously and I feel like that should you know tell me I dont need him but I just cant seem to give up but I really want too but I cant really help likin him. I really need some help!! Anyone???!

Start focusing on improving your life (while you avoid him). Get a job if you don't have one already. Keep yourself busy. Start a journal and list a few things you like about yourself every day. This will help you build some genuine self esteem, since you obviously don't have much... letting some loser trample over your feelings for eight long months. Are you some kind of sadist? Drop this guy off your list of possibilities. Get real. It isn't going to happen.

I agree. Just look @ someone else or something. You know.

u cannot force love its like you follow love and it will flee , if you flee love it will follow thee . Moreover if you love someone set him free if he comes back he is urs if he doesnt he never was urs . And girl there are plenty of guys out there who will love you for the person you are so wait ...As you say this guy is not interested in you sweets then why run after something that your never going to get. Try and engage urself in something that would take your mind off him. Trust me Life would be gr8.

I think you just have to begin to understand that it might neva happen- that is gettin with him. It might not be easy, it might cause a lot of pain, but you have to convince yourself that he aint the one for you. You're worth more than killing yourself over a guy that does'nt even like you.

I know how you feel. its happened to me.

getting over someone is a process that takes SUCH a long time.

Basically to help it along, focus on why he's not the guy for you.

head will win out over heart if you give it enough encouragement.

but like, this'll happen- you'l think your'e over him, and then suddenly BAM it hits you again. then this'll happen a few more times, and then you'll probably start seeing a side of him you don't like. An you'l stop liking him.

this is what happened to me, but im pretty sure this is what generally happens.

OMG I have the saaame problem, and it's sooo anoying hey? well.. I don't care, because I am just going to keep liking him, because im sure he secretly likes me back.. hehehe
