How can i get my eyeliner to stay on?

I always put on eyeliner and by about half way through the day its all melted down my face and I look really scarey. is there a good way to make it stay like it looks when I first put it on? or are there any really good brands you know of?

try water proof eyeliner..

if you put concealer or eye canvas paint around your eyes it helps the eyeliner stick and stay on longer.

Exactly what kind of eyeliner do you use and how do you apply it? The reason I ask is because I have never had this problem, but I have seen many girls that do. I use Covergirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner ($5) and it is the best stuff I have ever tried and I have been through my fair share- trust me! It is more precise when you apply it than a regular pencil liner and you can make it as thin or thick as you want to. Also, do a clean line on the top and bottom (whether or not you line your outer or inner lids on the bottom...) not thick and uneven.

After I put my eyeliner on I actually line it with black eyeshadow...it works for me! doesnt run or anything...its kinda like putting powder over your coverup

Use a liquid eyeliner and don't rub your eyes. I use liquid, but I also use a pencil and the BEST eyeliner I've ever tried is the Smudgie from Tigi ($17) Its pricey but it does a fantastic job- it's BOLD and doesn't run- and you can smudge it if you want for a smokey eye effect (it has a smudger on the other end) I love the stuff.

heya sounds a bit random but once you put your eyeliner on, shut your eyes and spray them with hairspray. helps it stop melting for me!

after applying tha liner pat under your eyes with your foundation sponge and then powder...then do tha whole black eye shadow thang
